October 30, 2003 Neuqua Valley High School College Fair for Students with Special Needs from 10:30 to 1:30

Michael Whitney from SIUC and fifteen other area universities, colleges, and technical schools will be in attendance on October 30, 2003 for the College Fair for Students with Special Needs. The event will take place at Neuqua Valley High School, Naperville from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Organizers are expecting 200 to 300 students and parents from District 204 and District 203. Bill Roller, special education teacher at Neuqua Valley, said this is the first year the district has organzied such an event. "We hope to make this an annual event for students with special needs," Roller said.

Michael will be showcasing services provided at SIUC in conjunction with various adaptive technologies such as voice activated software, magnification, brain actuated technologies, and more... Michael will also provide information on the upcoming transition camp and its benefits to new students.
