Bryan Dallas
Bryan Dallas heads the adaptive technology text conversion program at Disability Support Services. In addition to his MS in Rehabilitation, Dallas has years of experience implementing appropriate adaptive technologies for students with disabilities.
Felicia Booker
Felicia is a current student at SIUC and an expert user of screen reading technologies. She has years of experience personally using these technologies and has assisted DSS with sharing her abilities with interested professionals.
Expected Topics of Discussion and Presented Technologies
Our July 12, 2005 presentation is an update of adaptive computer technology that will be given as an instructional opportunity as well as provide Continuing Educational Credits. With interactive experiential based learning opportunities integrated into a technological presentation, it will be an opportunity to utilize cutting edge technologies currently being put to work here at SIUC-DSS. Our goal is to provide an understanding of the following technologies:
