Transition and Inclusion Camp Surveys
Pre- and post-tests are administered to camp participants to measure the effectiveness of the Transition Camp. Criteria, curriculum and schedules for future camps are continuously modified according to survey results, with the goal of offering the most valuable transition experience possible to students with disabilities.

In later camps, this information was included with the main pre and post-camp surveys

A longitudinal study has also been developed by DSS to evaluate the program's overall long-term effectiveness. Longitudinal assessments will continue to be mailed to past camp participants each summer for the next few years to assess if the Transition and Inclusion Camp assisted students in degree completion, obtaining employment and other quality of life issues. The first of such longitudinal studies was done in September of 2005. Campers from the FY 2004 Transition and Inclusion Camp were mailed longitudinal surveys - results are posted. DSS is in the process of surveying both 2004 and 2005 campers in the same fashion. 2006 Longitudinal Survey results will be posted when they are computed.
